Massive power issues

HI Guys. I have an 06 f150 supercrew lariat, with a5.4L motor with 40000 miles but i have a problem.Every time I put it to the floor when I am doing about 50mph, the motor/tranny make a loud pop pop pop pop noise. Anyways, its in the shop under warranty but they cant figure it out. The dealer has emailed ford and is waiting back from engineering, but have any of you guys experienced something like that. Im pissed and confused, Any info, guesses would be appreciated. I thought that it was misfiring or detonating, but they say the plugs/coilpaks are tested and fine. let me know if you have an opinion on what it could be. thanks guys, Carman.

would it pop if you revved the engine? does it feel like a missfire? is there a cel? did they put there scanner on it, it may have a code with or without the cel.

Thanks Man!

It doesnt pop when i rev the engine, just when I am taking off at about 50mph. At normal speeds the truck doesnt miss a beat, just when I put it to the floor it makes this god damn noise.I will ask them at the dealer tomorrow if they even plugged it in yet to see what it was. I imagine they did, but will mention the cel to them to see if they have a clue. thanks for your help!
