put 2 identical trucks ,except 4.2 and 4.6 and hook up to a 5k trailer and run em up a steep grade, compare two dentical 350's ,except-1 being 5.4 , **** make it a v-10-other a powerstroke, hook to a 8k lb trailer and run em up the same grade- same thing will happen, now racing them unloaded - results won't be as bad, as the old saying no replacement for displacement[ at least in the 4.2 vs 4.6 case

Ahh... I think there is no replacement for displacement... 4.2 < 4.6... no matter how you slice it.

It's like ManualF150's truck < Openclass' Van... I think the Vangina would win hands down, no matter how you slice and dice it up...

my personal van weighs~9k lbs,don't think it would lose-my other 7 aren't exactly light either
