i've got one in my truck right now and i like it. they update most of the problems that the engines had from the factory. i've never had a problem with there engines in any vehicle i've put an engine in yet and everyone i know is satisfied with them. all around they are a good reman company.

We used to dyno test Jasper reman engines at Romeo. It was part of our responsablity to dyno Ford reman suppliers engines. They are good replacement engines. In fact they would usually hold up as well as a new engine. Which means that failures were very rare. They have bearings installed in the cam bearing towers and of course the bores are all punched out. New pistons etc. Good engines.

yea the racing engines are the class 2 performance engines. there just built so that they have some power but still hold up for a while. nothing serious.

I had a Jasper rebuild put in my 85 Ranger. No problems what so ever. 2.8L V6.

The also rebuild trannys and axles too I believe.

Anybody need a Ranger for parts?
It's a long story, but I need to get rid of it...hasn't run in a few years. Suspension issues.

Jasper 2.8 V6 and A4LD......

Yeah,I'd have to say after installing over a dozen Jasper engines in my shop among several other suppliers over the last few years, I personally would rate Jasper as the number one consumer level suppliers of remanufactured engines on the planet, they stand firmly by their warrantys and beyond, state of the art facilities in Jasper Ind.Up to date on inherant problems with any given product.Yes they go pretty deep into performance engines and transmissions also
