Exclamation please help ground wire issue

I am just finishing a 4 1/2 month frame off build on my 97 f150 and cannot remember where a certain ground wires connects to. It's a ground strap that is coming off of the rear of the passenger head where the bracket routing the wire harness goes. Its probably around 2.5 to 3 feet long. hopefully someone has this answer because I can't find any info on it anywhere online. thanks

Mine was going from the back of the passengers side head to the firewall just behind the alternator fuse. Mine has a little green screw that it attached to. Hope that helps.

The only strap in that vicinity goes from the manifold to the firewall.

Green strap here -

New strap here -

The heads on my truck have been reworked by someone that didn't know what they was doing so I guess they could have attached it in the wrong place. If I was to attach mine to the intake I would have 8 inches of wire drooping down. It's very long!

Yea, that's strange. Not sure why there's a ground from the heads ? I can say that I don't have any attached the heads. In-fact, I just pulled the harness/top of my motor off.

- What a mess . But yea, No wires on the heads at all. The aluminum manifold bolts directly to the heads tho, maybe the factory had some in different locations..?

What ? Looks that way don't it - Nah, that's a spare harness (parts) in the pic, -chopped up. I'm just replacing a few connectors on the one I'm using.
