Hell I didn't know you started that other thread - Here I thought we were stealing it
Anyway, I'll guess that's what they scanned (420/430) . I copied from my other post because this is what you need to figure out -
"It's simple - You have a leak, that's all there is to it. Once you off the rears it can't leak in the Y before the rear sensor. It's either the manifold, EGR tube, O2 Bungs or your connections.
Somethings leaking.
Running just forwards or pre-cats is still within margins of your systems programed parameters. But you are pushing it to one side of set parameters without rears. See what I'm saying ? That's why it needs to be tight".
BTW- the sensor isn't at fault - it's doing it's job and reporting a problem..

That's alright, yea a Chiltons or Haynes manual will help you quite a bit with things. Probably not to much in this case tho :lol :..
I'll put it another way - What ever you messed with under there is what you need to check. Quickest way I check for leaks in the exhaust is to stick an air hose into the tail pipe and regulate 10 -15 lbs thru it. Then hit the joint using a squirt bottle with mostly water and a little dish soap mixed. You'll see every leak in the system that way. Some people use shop vacs in blower mode as well..
