Sounds little bit better. When I went to look at my engine they couldnt get it running. I was there for awhile figuring out why it wouldnt pop. Then I saw that the crankshaft position sensor was cut and missing. I cut one off another truck and spliced it in and it fired right up. I aint buying an engine unless I hear it run, but thats me. I picked up my 5.4 out of a totaled 98 Navi for $500

Not necessarily, you can get it tuned to shut off all the auto stuff the pcm recieves and sends out. Not sure if you can chip and tune the pcms on f150's as im a newbie and im not use to dealing with these trucks but im sure there similary to most fords so you can chip and tune the pcm, im use to moding my Crown Victoria.
