Today I went to get my truck at the dealer, because it had a couple of problems. after had my transmision repaired 2 times in the past my tires causing vibration.. and other problems..

I took it because I was having a clunk noise on the transmision and also having a lot of detonation.

and also some vibration at idle when my a/c was on


ok the tech drive the truck with me and we couldnt duplicate exactly the noise, but he had an idea.. the tech told the s.a that he can hear the sparkplug thing or something like that, on the trans.. he was going to check,
today nothing was done to the truck, the s.a told me that on the transmision, he couldn't duplicate the noise, on the detonation that he didn't found anything wrong, that might be the gasoline and tu put a tank of premium "wtf" and the a/c that everything was fine I hope ford goes to bankrupt as I am going because all the trips that is costing me to go there I also have a bmw and they always fix the problems but they give me a loaner or they go and pick up my car but ford is full of s%^%& as this would be my 7 and last car from ford and also ford top of the line models they are not cheap at all.

by the way is an 07 KR with 25k

Another 'typical' everyone with Ford sucks because of a lousy dealership...

I'm certainly not saying that you haven't had problems with your vehicle but, the fault lies with your dealership's service; not Ford directly. Again, while you may have bought a Friday afternoon special - and I would concur that a 07 with 25k shouldn't have problems - but, I think you need to find a new stealership.

 

im comparing the service. it didnt cost me $20,000 I paid like $40,000 for the truck

Ya no crap we all understand what type of position you are in, you are just getting fed up. The only purpose you brought that truck in is because you did not want to spend any more time on it or you don't know what your doing. I think you are just a little angry right now. Ford does not suck, you take that back! Heres advice that i want to give you. It just so happends the guy you let drive your truck to try to diognose the problem was a half-wit, or a rookie...So calm down...Go to a LOCAL "family" mechanic and drive it for them, mention that "other mechanics can't engage these noises, only i can" and YOU do the driving! They think they can just jump into another persons car and diognose it like a frickin diognostic tool! BUT THEY CANT...I have had some experience. Guy drives it and comes back, tells me THERES NOTHING WRONG? I said "to hell with you" and went to the next guy. Hey man your the guy that drives it every day, your the guy that knows what to listen for right? Not them. I am not trying to rip on EVERY tech but MOST of them act like if they can't figure it out, than you don't know what your talking about. Guess what it ended up being? Frickin spark plug came out the hole, it wasnt running that internal at ALL. Imagine how close to complete crap it would run and drive, and image the tech telling me theres nothing wrong...You see, something so obvious and since they can't figure it out they want to tell you everythings OK

Lesson learned: EVERYONES GOT A DIFFERENT ANSWER.

Go to a local tech and drive it for them, just give it a shot!

thanks.. you are right, the thing is that I been in 2 dealers already.. to be looking for some dealer that offers you a good service, its hard when you don't have a lot of time.. and then the guy comes and tell you sorry man, you know ford pays me to put parts, but I didnt found anything wrong, just fill your tank with premium

 

yeah no ****? there is nothing but a breather hose and 4 sensors/plugs on the transmission, thats all! That one put a smile on my face SlammJamma!

 

thanks man, yeah I am angry , also because last week I had to buy new tires, because the problem with the pirellis, then the tech drives the truck, he can hear the noise but not very loud and also the detonation, at the end the s.a comes and tells me that nothing is wrong ???

 

yea sometimes its better to diagnose something before you take it. but anyways, do you have an edge tuner in it? alot of trucks i've seen have had similar problems with the edge. sorry to hear about the problem though.

no I dont have any edge or anything man. yea I post something here and everyone recomend me to add a mid grade gas and then the regular.. I did but I still had the detonation.. thats why I took the truck in.. and also because of the trany noise, I had the trany fix 2 times so it is scary to hear something.. and not having a smoth transmision..
