a/c AND ENGINE

does anyone have this sensation, when you are at a stop light, and your are presing the brakes and you have your a/c on you can feel a vibration on your brake pedal , but if you turn your a/c off it goes away.

no when the truck is running its just fine, but you can start felling the vibe when you are almost at a complet stop, when you feel the transmision is stop by the brake, hard to explain.

im saying, the extra vibrations may not be felt until you apply pressure to the pedal and are stopped. Just like how you dont feel warped rotors til your stepping on the pedal, this is basically the same thing. Your feeling the vibrations of the A/C compressing, it is just like a normal air compressor. Maybe the bearings are going or the pistons are seizing up and its running rough. . .

thanks camaro, it is under warranty, do you think this could be a defect or something the truck is 07 king ranch 25k on it. had couple problems since new.. like my a/c not blowing cold a/c but everytime you take the truck in they never duplicate the problems so its hard to be visiting the dealer

do you know what a normal cycling A/C compressor sounds like??? I'd pop the hood engine running and have someone turn on the A/C, see if the clutch grabs and you here it cycle off and on. Listen for screetching as in a bearing going dry or pistons locking up
