Stalls when going into gear

Hi there

I Have a 2000 F150 4X4 extended cab with a 4.6L , it starts and run fine. But as you put it into reverse it stalls and it keeps doing it until the truck warms up. Then you can get it going and it runs fine. Any suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

What does it do if you put it in Drive?

I'd clean or replace the IAC valve.

Replace you IAC as glc suggests and reset your PCM by disconnecting the battery for at least 15 mins.

That's too bad, I hope you can get it fixed or replaced for a decent price!
