A kid in my class is putting a DOHC 4.6L into his mustang and selling his SOHC 4.6L romeo for 200 bucks. Should i buy this build it up *cams,piston,crank,bigger TB and intake manifold and maybe even nitrous* Or should i save my money get either cams/dyno tune or another power adder? Also is there any diff besides valve cover bolts between windsor and romeo? i have the windsor engine right now i was gonna put my intake manifold on his engine if i do get it. Any other ideas im open to opinons lemme know what you guys think.

If i deside to just get cams will i need to get tuned for the cams or can my truck figure it out? Thanks guys. My current mods are in my sig.

 

Christ, for only 200 bucks, buy it even to just sit on it for a while. Dump money into little at a time and build it slow waiting for the truck engine to die. That's a pretty good deal especially if it runs good.

 

Yeah he says it runs...couldnt i even punch it out to be a 5.4L? same block just one is bored more or stroked more? i cant rember. or i could get the stroker kit for it too. or just give it to livernois and say have fun!

Might have to look into some kits to do that also might have to grab a turbo off a super duty or just find one and see if i can mess with it enogh to make it work lol.
