AGH! 1996 F-150 Fuel Rail

my f-150 Fuel rail started leaking all over the exaust manifold. Ok have to fix this Quick as I like not being a ball of flame. Find out Ford stopped making this fuel rail a while back, and there are none available. Is there an aftermarket? is there any other solution? (I am hunting junk yards, but then am I going to get one that will start to leak again?) I read perhaps a mustang rail will work? but what one?

This is an in line 6, 4.9L, manual tranny....

HELP!

John

i've never seen a fuel rail leak so i'd just go to a junk yard and get one out of another 300 inline and just clean it up inside and out and you should be good to go.

Leaking from

The leak is between the first and second injector, right where it was clamped to the manifold by the pressure regulator. Looks like it just rusted...
Junk yards all say i have to buy the whole upper intake manifold and the rail will come with it.
I just cannot believe there is no after-market.

$$$

Seems the one junk yard couldn't even get the rail with the intake..AGH! I am still amazed about this.
I found another junk dealer and he said he will get the rail, but it comes with all the injectors, which I don't need, but hey, for $175.00.

I still cannot believe there is no after market for this.
