cheap and easy performance upgrades

I want the most bang for the buck. I'd like to know what I need, how much and where do I go to get it!!! If someone would direct me in the right direction I would appreciate it greatly. As far as I know Nothing has been done to truck other than Headers and 2 1/4" dual exhuast with flow master mufflers. Air filter was replaced with K/N, but stock size nothin special.

you most likely have factory 3.55's. what kind of driving do you do? i'd suggest 4.10's for the most part. better or the same around town and about the same on highway. plus a lot more torque.

I use the truck for work 98 % of the time right now and do alot of hiway driving
although I don't buy my gas unless I use it for personal use, I would like to be easy on the wallet when I do use it for personal use, especially not knowing what tomarrow holds with the economy.

what kinds of speeds do you go on the highway? if you stick with the speed limit then fuel mileage should be the same or possibly go up depending on how hard you are getting up to speed. but around town should shoot up a bit.

the engine wont have to try as hard to move. it will run at slightly higher rpm's but it won't bog down nearly as much. and it wont go in and out of od when you need the extra power.

cool sounds like exactly what I was looking for, thanx. It likes to kick down into passing gear alot when going over some of the smallest overpasses on the hiway especially when in cruise control.

I'd like to put a small charger on but 1. lil more than at can afford right now, and 2. I'm sure I'll have to beef everything up first (top and bottom end). Especially since I work out of my truck and may travel from one end of the state to the other at any given time.
