No problem -

You might wanna ****** Phil's intake. It's an O3, not 100% positive - Ford may have modified something. Either beefed the problem area or used different composite material in the plastic (dif polymers)..

I vaguely recall something like that occurring, not 100% sure.

Also Phil has sent me parts before - he doesn't waste any time, it should get there quick. I bet his intake looks new

I have to get back with him today, thing is, I am really interested in getting the aluminum intake now that you told me about them.

I am just trying to make sure everything will work in that configuration, I know that intake gaskets for the aluminum intake is $23 more than for the plastic intake.

That's because the aluminum set up uses 3 gaskets - Plastic set up = only 2 gaskets.

Than I think I will try the aluminum setup, its only $50 and with gaskets the whole deal will less than $100 and will be stronger than the plastic one ever could be

97 -99 = Intake kit comes with 3 (that includes upper)

2000 -20003 = Intake kit comes with 2 . There isn't an upper on these models.

Your ordering a 99 kit right? I hope the dowel locations are the same between the two models, Ford moved them around allot on the heads. That's the only problem you might have.. - so far
