Maf?!

is it possible to remove the MAF and keep the truck running smooth....put in a resistor or something......

i've taken one off before and it didnt change how the motor ran until i shut it off and restarted it and it threw a cel.

Why would you want to do that? It puts it into safe mode. It kills MPG and HP.
