2008 f150??

Well i am looking seriously at trading my 07 Ranger fx4LII for an 08 F150 Lariat 4x4 ect....

I am wondering if these are as realiable as my 99 f150 (now project v10). I put 400,000 on it berfore i swaped the motor just for fun. The engine is now in another truck still going stong. I took it for a test drive and wow thats a nice truck. I am just not up on the new stuff so any advise would be great. Its an awesome deal for the one in stock.

Thanks
Josh

the 08's are very good trucks. but just like anything else theres that slight chance in getting a bad one. but ford pretty much fixed all the major problems so you should be good. oh, and the electronic throttles take a little bit of time to get use to.

Well 2 things on that. Dont really like the 09's style. Plus the new engine program i would rather let someone else do the testing.

And i thought 14,000 off sticker was preatty fair.

We just bought a '08 last month and I took it on a 1500 mile trip over the Labor Day weekend. I loved it. I had no problem adjusting to the electronic throttle. As the '09's are new versions of established power plants I would wonder if all of the changes have the bugs worked out.
