ive heard they arent worth getting that they hurt more than help, my buddy had a 5.9 dodge and he put a spacer and a intake and he claims it helped him launch better, (he was big on racing, even tho my 100% stock 4.6 beat him from every punch)

they dont hurt anything from what i understand but they are pointless unless like minimonster said about a nitrous setup. it was probably the intake that helped him because of the turbo.

oh i was thinking the cummins, you mean the 5.9 v8. the cai makes a fairly good difference in the older dodges either way. dont forget that those spacers raise the throttle body and makes the throttle sensitive.
but yea i never felt a difference when he got that TB spacer, but he said it did i was like what ever dude
I'll post the same response that I posted in that E3 spark plug thread. You will NEVER get a return on initial investment with a TB spacer so that makes it a crappy financial move and therefor not at all worth it.

I had a friend give me a Poweraid throttle body spacer that wouldn't fit his truck! My truck didn't gain any power or lose any that I noticed but the whistle that darned thing emit's is so dang annoying that I almost have to drive around wearing ear plug's! I haven't had time lately to remove it but my fiancee will sure thank me when I do! What makes it worse is that the throttle bodies on the 04+ 5.4's are at the very back of the engine next to the firewall and the noise is nonstop! After about 500 miles the whistle did get quieter but it's still noticeable! I've had people ask if I had a turbo installed on my truck cause of how loud the whistle was when I passed them!

So if you all dont think it is wise investment what would be .
I have 03 sc 4.6 dual from cat back and the previous owner put a k/n filter in the stock box .
So what would you recomeend for midrange 'round town ,
end some highway .
If you had the stimulus check to spend on some enjun mods.
Want power and mileage and something to stop me from gettin old .

no point just like the tbs. unless the upgrade require these. and just so you know power and fuel economy dont always go together depending on the driver. i have a new jasper stage one motor with a slightly bigger cam, dual exhaust with a single cat, K&N cai, and hypertech computer chip. my fuel economy hasnt changed due to the fact that i got even more lead footed after each upgrade because the power and the way it made my exhaust sound so much better.
