Holy piles of missinfo...

'85 was the first year for multiport EFI on the 302. The 302 intake manifold from '85 to '90ish simply said Ford Electronic Fuel Injection.

'87 was the first year for EFI on the 300 and 351. With all 351 intake manifolds saying 5.8L EFI. However as a tidbit the 351HO was still available in '87 with the stock four barrel carb.

'88 was the first year of 460 EFI.

You have a burnt '85 302.

Ok so does that mean that the engine that this guy was claiming was a 351w was really a 302? It was two guys in there 60s and they were going off what the guy they bought it from said it was. It only says Ford Electronic Fuel Injection. The only thing they know is it came out of a 1985 or 1986 F250 Dually. I guess I will be looking some more and praying my truck lasts.

Yes it's a 302. Also would have to be a 350 to be an original dually, so these guys prolly drink too much.
