I'm not buying a Ford again - between the plug problems and them not being able to put a decent diesel in the HD lines anymore, I think they f^cked up - Bad. AND , they don't even care. They downsized and got rid of the wrong people. It's not the same.

I agree 100% at least on the spark plug issue. They have screwed the pooch in this one. As far as I'm concerned there are going to be a lot of issues with these plugs down the road when more of these trucks hit the recommended plug change interval of 100k miles. I think Ford should have admitted they messed up and at least develop a 1 piece design(or some other solution) and issued a recall to have everyone with this potential problem come in for a change. You know FORD knew about this potential problem long before owners found out....they could have stepped up and did something about in 04 instead of waiting 3 or 4 years to design a new head.....if the head rumor is true.

Hell they didn't fix the two valve design until 2003 . That started w/97builds. and became a very prominent problem in 99 , by there own hands @ the plant.. Damn !! screwed up again hahaha (that seems to be attitude they have toward all of us and there own) .

Anyway - I think we're looking @ 2010 before the three valves are worthy - They shouldn't even be on the market with a f^ck up like that IMO .

You know - It's like Pride, Craftsmanship, Quality, Dependability are all missing.

It's all about the beer buddy system now, or who knows who. - Hell with all that other stuff above right? - Specially if season tickets are involved. !!

A little dramatic , but that's the way I see.

Bring back the 7.3L - I'll be happy.
