this morning i came out to start my truck and it cranks over but immediatley stalls after 2 seconds of running.... any ideas?

are you using the factory key. if you use a key that was cut by walmart or something like that then it will shut off because theres no chip in the key and it causes the fuel pump to shut down. is the security light on when your cranking it and when it actually starts?

 

With so little information we can only guess.. What engine what year? fuel filter is my guess

 

sounds like iac unit is stuck or shot, try tapping on the iac or keep your foot on the gas after it starts and see if it continues to run.

 

yeh sorry i did have a signature.....you got it buck dropper....the iac was stuck. thanks for the responses.
