miss fires done just randomly happen, ive had my truck for a little over a year now, had one miss fire only because the rubber seal (o-ring) was worn out and broke or whatever, and it rained and water got in there, hooked it up to a computer and figured out what cylinder it was, got online found out the order of the cylinders (lol) took that coil pack off and replaced that rubber thing, took a air compressor and blew out that water, and dried off the plug, put it back together, and everything was good

anything can cause a misfire. alot of people can have a misfire and not even realise it until they throw the pedal to the floor and it just shakes.

you can either wait or you can have the truck running and pull each of the coil plugs to see which one isnt making a difference.

You dont have wires you have COP's *Coil over plug* insted of 2 coil packs you have 8 coils going right into the spark plugs. Use Motorcraft plugs other wise you will have alot more miss-fires in about 3,000 miles. As for the COP's on Ebay alot of guys on here use global COP's

its not as bad as it seems. but it does definately take patience to do the plugs. the only pita is if and when you break a plug.
