Component under bed behind spare tire

What is the component under the bed and behind the spare tire in my 07 F150? Looks like it might have something to do with fuel delivery.

I think I remember that it has to do with fuel vapor and emmissions. When I did a search, there were some other threads, but I didn't read them.

While we're looking back there, what is the larger hose on the back drivers side on the back axel for? Looks like the smaller ones go to the brakes but there is a larger one that wasn't hooked up to anything and just hanging.

I just got my truck back from the body shop where they replaced the fender on that side and noticed i had a hose hanging and not connected to anything this morning.

I have an FX4 '05 supercab if that makes any difference.

Thank you kind sir, that was my guess. But I'm no expert and didn't want to blow something off that could make my truck angry at me.

I understand completely! Glad I could help. Anytime I have work done, I check my truck ,too. Occasionally I'm very glad I did.
