Should i remove programmer for services?
Should i remove programmer for services?
Hey im getting a 30,000 mile service done tomorow and im just wondering if i should take my truck back to stock tune...If it wont mess anything up i wont but just let me know.
Some dealers might give you trouble if they know you have a programmer but legally they can't deny you warranty work unless they can prove that the programmer caused the problem. The only problem would be if they reflash your computer for some reason, your tune will be lost. I would either specifically tell them not to mess with it or return it to stock.
yea i agree if it were me i would return it to stock tune and leave the programmer at the house ive heard lots of stuff from people gettin crap from dealers about their programmers just put it to stock tune, leave the programmer at the house, when you get it all said and done, tune it back to your likings and go another 30,000 miles
