**All about Passenger side /starter head gasket leak**

Sooooooo while troubleshooting my AC I noticed an oil film on my starter. This is obviously the right head gasket leak due to a metal debris during the manufacturing process.

Truck is a 1999 Expedition with about 115,000 miles. The leak is not enough to drip to the ground but the starter and surrounding areas have an oil / dirt residue on it. I seems to add .25 quarts of oil every 2 weeks.

Sooooo what do I do? I am running sythetic now. Should I switch to conventional oil? I have read that it may reduce leaks. Should I buy those "stop leaks" additives?

I really dont feel like dropping 3k for repairs.

What is the SOP for this typical problem?

Thanks!!

thats a problem with the factory ford head gaskets... the only cure is different head gaskets or just deal with it.
