No problem.

I work for BP global energy company, previously known as British Petroleum but now I guess there using only the initials

Alternative Energy - Wind Turbine Division. -Demand has almost doubled and we don't have enough bodies right now - so..Long hours.

hey thats actually pretty neat i think. im kinda into all that stuff. our Community college is the first around here to actually offer a whole degree just for alternative energy. their two year course also feeds into Illinois States program too. our teach is big time into all that. hes got solar panels all over his house, actually owns his own company. heck, he makes more money doin that then teachin. when i build my own house eventually out in the country its gonna be completely off the grid. wind turbines baby!!
they are actually bringing a set of turbines across through our area and are currently looking for workers. starting pay they say isn't that great at a measly 26 bucks an hour. oh p.s. i ordered those ebay injectors. the rebuilts that had been cleaned and the whole deal.

i like all that stuff but im just not sure its what i wanna do. what id really like to do is get on with the railroad and be a conductor. big bucks. great retirement. great insurance. but that windmill farms coming through here would not be a bad place to work at all. something ill have to look more into when i get back to school this fall. now that ive got the injectors and coils i think i might order a transgo and maybe a set of UDs. and change tranny fluid and filter and possibly the transfer care fluid. diff fluid should prolly be changed to while im doin this stuff.

I believe you have to go thru the Operating Engineers school for that. I had to do that way back when and then you have to go back for GPS training. It's prolly combined now. Then all that safety training - I think it's still 18 modules required. I had to all that just to work the Big 3 in the past. Last job I did for them was Fords test track (Dearborn) in 2005.

A conductor or chief engineer for the railroad would get boring after awhile - unless you work in CALI - Pulling thru the mountains. They only let a select few do that. Still everything is so automated now, it makes the work days that much longer

Oh well , good luck.

idk i think it might be interesting. nothing says if i get a job there that i gotta stick with it lol. the hours are quite ridiculous though. the are working basically on rest right now. work your 10 and as soon as you clock out you have 8 hours of rest, and then can call you back in 6 and a half and have you back at the end of those 8. but i figure being almost 20 years old, im young and willing to work those hours that the guys with familys dont wanna.

i do kinda like the idea of the wind turbines though. those jobs along with the railroad are not going to go away anytime soon. But my dream job id have to say would be a heavy equipment operator. but all the quarries around here have basically no work. layin guys off. not makin any money.

what type of work do you do exactly for BP?

Hmm, that pertains to the field/public ? Not really.. Wait! there is one -

http://www.rmtinc.com/public/windconnect.html

Alient Energy may have some public info and of course Bp. I have to log in to get the good stuff and I can't get the photo galleries to upload.

well got um changed. runs better? ehh. not night and day like some have claimed. had autolite platinums in it. glad to get those out of there. wasnt really that bad. took about 5 hours takin my time. almost lost my temper a few times but i didnt throw any tools and im proud of that lol. well maybe one. but all in all it went ok. way better than i thought. i put it off long enough cuz i was nervous lol but i learned some new things today. i kept gettin a CEL for emissions. some dummy tucked the plug for the pressure sensor out of the way and didnt plug it back in well thats my story. maybe next will be, transgo, UDs, efans and headers.
oh yeah. thanks for all your guys help in pointin me in the right directions.

That's because your stuff wasn't bad then, or you haven't cleaned the MAF yet,THEN rebooted ~ Hell , could be allot of reasons.

5.4L performance dif was major in the 98, I did the injectors as well tho.

Shoot, - quite few people who finally clean their MAF ; -after about 50,000 miles () have personally witnessed that "Night and Day" effect

I, for one believe
