Oil Grade Question

I have an 01 Super crew F150 with the 4.6. I do some long distance towing and wanted to go to the pure synthetic. After checking out the Mobile 1 web site I decided to give the 0w30 a try. Has anyone else tried this and how did it work for you. Thanks

OW30 will treat you and your truck very well. I run 0W30 in my '02 and do quite a bit of towing...except I use Amsoil instead

0W30 wont hurt at all. Some claim tighter tolerances and all that, these engines used 5W30 when they first came out, so dont worry. The supercharged versions use a 5W50, so you tell me if a 30 weight will hurt.
