What are the sorriest engines out there?

I don't have the first to offer.
I've not owned one that was completly sorry. I attribute them to being wore out
But in your opinion's what are the sorriest engines produced?
I mostly had headgasket and intake gasket problems.
What are the worse production engines built.

Whatever Chrysler was putting in their minivans. You know, the ones that never stop smoking?

Chrysler definitely needs to be on the top of the list especially with the 2.7L V6.

The vega aluminum engine was without a doubt the worse engine made. The chrysler 4 banger that was in the mini vans was a close second.

What about that 4 cylinder they use to put in the Escorts. Weren't they made by Bic ? That lighter company ? The flint would burn up @ about 90,000 miles..

Also, Chrysler's 2.2L that devoured head gaskets...

Chevy's 2.8L V6 was never known to be a runner, but my father had an S10 w/ a 2.8 that had 240,000...

And cam chains or belts or whatever they have.
When they run right they're fun to drive.

Mitsubishi 2.6L 4 banger - used a lot by Chrysler (oil control issues)
Chevy Vega 140 (aluminum block without liners and iron head)
GM Quad 4 (bad timing chains)
Early Ford 3.8 V6 - (head gaskets)
