The cheapest 5W20 to 5W50 that they have. I prefer the 5W50 but it is not always available or the cheapest. Currently I am using Motomaster Formula 1 Synthetic 5W50. Here are some reviews of the product. http://reviews.canadiantire.ca/9045/...2P/reviews.htm

Or you could use some 0W30 Amsoil - probably the best oil on the market, period. Can you say over 10 bucks a quart?

if you change the oil at the proper interval, there's nothing wrong with the regular 5W20 tha t Ford specified. Synthetic oil takes heat a bit better, lasts longer. So you can run synthetic oil, but still should change the filter at the usual interval. Only other real world benefit I can see is cold starting, the synth. oil flows better cold.

I said 0W30 Amsoil, not Amsoil in general. It's also the most expensive oil on the market. Amsoil also has lesser synthetics that really don't have anything extra going for them over a lot of other oils.

Please, if you are going to quote me, please quote my whole statement in context, otherwise you are no better than the media clowns in this country. Thank you.
