My truck started life with a 4.6 and a 5 speed. In 2003 I swapped the 4.6 for a 5.4. Last year in may I added the Procharger.Regards

The only thing to be careful about is the flywheel. Romeo 4.6 engines have a 6 bolt crank and all of the 5.4 engines have an 8 bolt. I needed an 8 bolt flywheel from a Windsor 4.6.Regards

The sticker on the engine will show WEP or REP. Count the bolts on the driver side valve cover. 13 bolts is a Windsor and 11 is a Romeo.
