Ok drove it to autozone and got it scanned and its the #4 coil isn't firing. So should i just buy a new coil 52$ or swap coils and see if it traces the swap to make sure? Talk to my step day and he said he changed all the coils, but the back one on the passenger because it was a pain in the ***. So it is the only orginal coil with 235,000 miles

Don't just do one. - You need to use the search bar man - this is posted at least twice a week. Use the search bar in this forum only tho. Click back to "Engines" First then search "this forum only".

With your miles you really need to update ALL your coils to get your ignition integrity back in shape. This makes a world of difference in the way she runs AND you'll most likely get your economy back if your running OEM Motorcraft plugs/clean TB and elbow ports/ Clean MAF Sensor and NEW forward O2 Sensors.

All this is a must after 200,000 thousand miles. I know , my truck NOW gets 16 mpg and runs like new.

Get your coils here only on the web, there the best for these things, but you MUST follow the correct procedures found thru search -

Good Luck

That is a good deal - I got the V10 package/ or 10 coils from them for my V8. Installed the first 8 to confirm they all worked - Pulled #1 and #2 and replaced those two with the extra two I had.

Now I have two extra coils on hand that I know are good
