Lenore,

how many miles do you have on the new plugs? Do you notice any change in fuel mileage or throttle response? The guys over on the Mustang forum have said nothing but positive things to say about the plugs. I'm temped to go with the Champions, but want to wait a little longer to hear more feedback.

Old school thought - the 5.4 3V is a special case.

I have Champions in everything Briggs and Straton. NGK's in the in the little Honda motors tho.

If I had a 3 valve - it would have Champions in it (or pulse stars) Other than that, Champion was a pretty sh^ty plug in automobiles for a long time.

They did a good thing here tho IMO

I have about 2 k miles so far, and have towed my 6000lb trailer with the champions. But I have been driving the windstar alot lately, gas prices are killing me.

Yeah I hear ya. We are paying $1.50/liter or about $6 a gallon up here in Canada. $158 to fill up the tank. Time to switch to diesel!!!

I switched mine in March almost 150,000 miles. 6 of 8 were stuck, not good. Ran like crap right away. Eventually engine light lit up and we found out 3 of the new plugs were faulty. Would not spark at idle. Pice was broken woudl slide down over electrode at idle then as rms rose, enought compresion to push up and it woudl run fine. So we put in 3 new ones and all good since. Seems fine even when towing. @ 12,000 miles since...
