Oil pressure switch

Oil pressure switch

I have an 04 5.4 f150. i was wondering where the oil pressure switch is located at?

Without looking...

Generally, Ford puts the pressure switch on the oil filter adaper housing on the F-series line.

Actual physical location can vary since the 2- and 4-wheel drive versions of the adpater are different due to the front driveline or absense there-of.

Be careful, my engine blew because i thought i had a bad switch. I drove it a week with intermittent oil pressure indications. Long blocks are not cheap.
