Easiest Oil Change ever!

I just changed the oil for the first time since i bought my truck a few months ago and holy crap is it easy (not that its hard) but the most difficult part usually is getting to the filter and on these trucks it right there behind the front bumper. If it was a snake it would have bit me. I used Moble 1 fully syn and moble 1 filter all under $40. Sweet

Cool

My local Ford dealer uses Motorcraft filters and Motorcraft synthetic blend oil, plus tops off all the fluids, lubes all hinges, checks air pressure, and a overall look of the truck, for the amazing low price of $25.00 plus tax! ($32.00 total)
Keeps me from dragging out a drain pan, tools, laying under the truck, and having to dispose of the oil and filter!

Oh,I use to do my own oil changes but now its my turn to rest while its being done!

I get all motorcraft at walmart the synthetic blend stuff. once a year or so I take it in for a lube. seems like I spend about 15-20 for the stuff at walmart. I like to change it allot though. Ive only put 9000 miles on it in the last year and I've changed it 3 times. I'll change it again soon.

Guess it's all a matter of opinion or your outlook on the subject. For the sake of this thread and the direction it's going, I change my oil out of sheer enjoyment of working on my own vehicle. Even changing the oil is not a chore. If my local dealership (or WallyWorld, or where ever you go) was doing free oil changes using Amsoil oil and filters, I'd still do it myself at home!! It drives me totally bonkers when something happens that requires someone else to work on any of my vehicles.

I agree 100%! I'm 44 years old and up until last year I had been changing my own oil (and other fluids) since I was 15 years old.I've built about 30-35 engines in that span too.I guess i'm at the point where i'm finally making enough money to let someone else do it!

Who knows;I might get to the point where i'm bored and change my fluids again.......we'll see!

Just some food for thought... how much would you trust a company who makes a dollar or two profit when it comes to the oil in your truck? When it comes to my food and the oil in my truck, I don't know if I want to go with the cheapest.

Who says this is the cheapest? This is with a coupon. Are you saying Motorcraft oil is cheap? I have seen great UOAs on this oil over at www.bobistheoilguy.com
And,Motorcraft filters are "made" for our engines! Are you saying they are cheap too?
