HELP!!! is there something wrong with my engine?

Ok so im driving home just 10 mins ago and i hit a red light. So I decide to punch it on green cause its been a while since i have done this. So the light urns green and were off, but as i start to burn rubber i loose power all together for a second and it feels like the tranny is trying to find the right gear. i was low on fuel and when i got home 2 miles away my low fuel signal comes on. Is there something wrong with my engine or tranny or was i just low on fuel. My truck is a 04 new body style FX4 with a 2.5 leveilng kit and 35 mudders.
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.
Thanks

There is nothing wrong with your truck, if you were low on gas. If my gas light is on, or close to being on and I punch it the same thing happens to me. You were probably low enough on gas that all your gas flowed to the back of your tank when you launched it hard, and could not get picked up by your pump for a brief moment.
