Angry Please Someone Help

I have a 98 Ford F-150 I have replaced the battery and the starter and it still won't start. When i try to start it gives me this clicking sound and then all the lights go off. I don't know whats wrong. Yesterday I went out there and tried to mess with it now it doesn't it even make the clicking sound.

Have you tested the relay? And it is possible that you got a bad battery or starter. Get them tested too.

Get in the Zone, AutoZone... they can test your alternator, battery, and starter for problems.

how does he do that when the truck dont start? im not thinking this guy wants to pull the starter again lol

seriously get a 2nd set of hands to start the truck while you watch your voltage at the batt. if it drops pretty low when your putting a load, its probably got a dead cell. assuming it shows 12v with no load on it.

Turn the headlights on if they are bright your battery is probably good. Re-man parts are tested before it goes out the door so chances are good your starter is OK. I would check your cables and your relay. Pay close attention to the relay. That would be my bet. I have a picture of what it looks like but I really don't know how to get pictures on this site yet.

Alternatively, if the voltage doesn't change (which I don't think it will) since the starter isn't even trying to turn over you probably have a bad ground somewhere. I just went throught this. My battery needed replacing but the ground was the real problem.
