WHich K&N cold air intake?

Thanks for the help
Thanks for the help
easy to install
use google bud. Type in "2004 Ford F150 5.4L (or whatever sized engine you have) k&n intake kit" and you'll have plenty to choose from.
Doesn't gain HP, no TQ gains, and no MPG gains. Waste of money, but thats just my opinion. Does look nice in the engine compartment.
also, try using the "SEARCH" feature up in the top, right hand of the Forum.
This has probably thousands of threads with the info your looking for

K&N Product Information for 63-2556
63 Series Aircharger Kits > Performance Intake Kit
A sister product to our 57 Series FIPK, our 63 Series Intake Kits or AirCharger® Intakes are built for many different vehicles and represent a dramatic improvement over a K&N O/E replacement filter alone. These intakes use only non-metallic rotationally molded tubes that can reduce intake air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube. Restriction can exist BETWEEN an air filter and the engine reducing the benefit of a K&N Air Filter. The weakest link in the airflow "chain" robs a vehicle of its natural horsepower. Often that weak point is the factory air path leading to the Engine. K&N Air Intake Kits virtually eliminate air path restriction by replacing the air filter and the entire air path to the engine. The aerodynamically engineered tube drives a massive amount of air into an engine, which translates into POWER. 63 Series Intake Kits are not legal for street use in some U.S. states. [MORE]

You'll be better off using a dry element filter - at least in the older models you are. As soon as the MAF gets just a little oil mist onto it - it's a dust magnet. I ran an LIGHTLY oiled element for a long time - To much maintenance for the MAF in my model, if you don't keep up on it, the truck will slowly preform worse and economy WILL begin to suffer - I'm just lucky I didn't break the fricken MAF having to clean it so much. Idunno - It sucked. Dry element = No worries.
