summer gas in NJ?

Wondering if anyone knows when they switch over to warm season blend in PR NJ?

Been driving at the limit, 65 or so, picked up about 1 mpg. Hoping that I will get more when the blend changes.

Anybody know when they switch?

FYI - regular here in south PRNJ is at $3.46/gal. Ugh.

Just did a highway run of about 120 miles. took 6.3 gals = 19.0 mpgs. 03 Ex, 4.6, efans, ud pullies + Troyer tune. Starting to look like those investments are paying off

yeah, we hear we have it relatively cheep here. There are several port terminals along the Delaware. But still, cheep is in the mind (and wallet) of the beholder.

Vermont is pushing 3.50 now, I used to live in princeton, loved filling up there. No ideas about summer gas. On another note, my other car is a subaru, and the subaru tech said stay away from exxon/mobile gas as it has so many additives, it may give you worse mileage.. sounds like an old wives tale, but I may try that out for a few tanks just to see.

where are you in So. Jersey?

I am in Gloucester Co.

If I go from dry it is well over $100 to fill.

My other vehicle is an E350 V10 Yipes! 35+ gal tank.

becuase I have had that exact experience. A friend has a Mobile (now Lukoil) station and whenever I have filled there, my mpg's were noticably lower and the SOP dyno said less umph and acceleration.

So I guess I'm not the only one....

You are probably on summer blend already, and that's why you are seeing better mileage now.

Yesterday, it was still 3.36 to 3.39 here, diesel is 4.09. Gas is now mandated E10 for regular and midgrade in MO. Full premium is optional.

I'm also in Gloucester Co. and I paid $3.42 at Wawa this morning. Not sure when they start with the summer grade, but my last tankful was better than 18 mpg.
