Blown Engine

I think I blew my engine, I was doing a monthly oil service on my truck and forgot to put new oil in it... turned it on and got a ticking so I drove 60 miles up to autozone to get them to check it out and about 10 feet outta my driveway i heard crunching so I floored it to let it "Fix itself" and then my truck caught on fire. good thing I had a supersoaker in my truck and I put out the flames. along with throwing gravel on it once my weak arms ran out of juice to keep pumping the super soaker. anyways, think its salvageable?

Well sounds like you have a good center peice for a table, and some decorations. If you overheated it so bad it caught on fire the heads are prob. warped, and the modular heads cannot be resurfaced, so thats toast. The block can only be bored .020" over, so it is likely a loss too. A new long block and some work will get ya going. Take pics for us

That's a cruise control fire on a truck that has no resemblance to yours. Go play in your sandbox and stop trolling the forum.

If you forgot to put new oil in, theres no way you made it 60 miles.

Seriously, enough of the bogus threads.
