thanks for all the input just got back from the shop. The oil leak turned out to be a pretty simple fix. the truck has a remote oil filter, which relocated it to left frame rail in front of the driver side tire. The lines running from the pan to the filter were leaking. Which makes sense why it was only leaking while running. Thanks again for the help guys!!!

Glad you found the problem - I had the same problem once , but you didn't say you had a remote oil filter or that it was up by the bumper. So I didn't know - I would have posted this instead -

im still learning the forums, and my truck!!! My post should get better in time!!! LOL

Oh, that's alright. I was debating posting that before and was going to ask if you had the remote set up first.

It slipped my mind. I didn't want you to loose enough pressure/oil within the system to damage your motor. For the most part, just wanted to make sure you new how serious this was and that it needed to be fixed promptly.
