I'm pretty sure it is not burning more than a quart.

it may actually be used up by the engine in the lubrication processes, and thus, not "burnt up"

That's STILL not what I'm asking.

HOW MANY MILES does it take to use exactly ONE QUART of oil?

Okay - on my truck, my last oil change was at 84,700 miles. 6 quarts filled it to about 1/3 of the way between the ADD and FULL lines. At 87,000 miles it was exactly on the ADD line. I added one quart, this filled it to the FULL line. I now have 93,500 miles on it and it's exactly on the ADD line. 93,500 - 87000 = 6500. I used ONE QUART in 6500 miles. Can you do the same math and tell me how many miles it takes you to use ONE QUART, please?
