I talked my dad into buying a K&N Cold Air Intake for his f-150...... I hooked it up according to the directions but now when i put the key in the ingination the check engine light and a (!) light will not go of and when i try to start it it cranks then dies.......im in need of help post back PLZ................

 

Check all your connections. Its likely that You just forgot one of the connections

 

Did you disconnect the battery first?

 

i put my key in the ignition and the cel comes on... that is normal. did you plug the MAF sensor back in?
