You wouldn't love a diesel out here in SoCal right now - it's up to $3.85 a gallon.

Well, maybe I'll get a 50 gallon drum of Line-X and try to keep it together a few more years. The last three winters - body work every year - this fall I replaced a pretty good chunk of the pass. side rocker panel. I freakin absolutely hate body work. Swore I wouldn't do it again after that rocker panel lol. I haven't tried the line x yet. I wonder if they have that in white?

Michigan salt!!

I didn't over torque them. I have bee around here long enough to learn that. Ido think that the plug is cuaseing the problem. When i pulled teh plugs the otehr night i had to put all my might into oulling the boots off the plugs since i crimped them. I just hope my heads arn't ruined. That would be a good excuse to get some fox lake heads though:santa: The wife keeps telling me to sell the truck and get the one i want.

I drove my first 5.4 on this trip and put my edge in it as i eliviated to. It didn't impress me. I guess i shouldn't talk. I did a 0-60 run with both my truck on level three and it stock. Mine was .47 seconds behind on the same road the same night. Not bad for a 4.6 but if i think about the same mods on a 5.4, i can only imagine.

Maybe its time to upgrade to an 03. I know way more about F150's now then i did when i got mine. I would get the one i want.

Im heading right now to get plugs.

I know i said i was going to do this last night but i have been skiing in this wonderful utah weather and i got lazy. Plus i didn't drive my truck so it didn't hurt.:santa:

I will get back later. Im guna pull an NGK and Mic it next to a motorcraft plug.

So to give an update... I replaced the spark plugs to motor craft OEM plugs. That was a fight in itself. The stealership wanted 12.50 a plug.... LOL i showed him a receipt from a dealership that i stopped on along the way for the same plug was like 6.88. The stealership had to beat it so my bill went from 101.88 to 48.34. All for saving a piece of paper... LOL So i did the plugs and that didn't change anything. After looking at the NGK's they are a bit different but not at any point that makes contact with the head.

So the next thing was the coils. I put the Origanal coils back on and it still didn't make a difference.

I then went out and bought some bosch wires. Put those on and it ran a million times better. So i have to think that one of my wires had resistance in it somewhere.

How would someone go about getting there money back from ford about this?

Ford takes no returns on electrical equipment like plug wires, unless they were dealer installed.
