Hey does your dog work for Honeywell ? Looks like he's making some Autolites

Damn! I think he's trying to sqeak out a full set.

BTW - Tolerence on the plugs -------- .52-.56 --------- I wouldn't touch them unless they exceed spec.

lol

ok, so i'm not going to hurt the platinum tips by sticking a gap gauge in them? and what you mean if they exceed spec? you mean don't make them wider gapped, just make the gap smaller if they are over .56?

Yea .52, .53, .54, .55, .56 are all within spec gap. You want them in that range according to FORD.

Personally , I like them @ .54 and every plug exactly the same.

DO NOT use anti-seize on those. The best way to thread plugs into the heads is with a scrap piece of 3/8 air hose to prevent cross threading.

You will not hurt the plugs gapping unless you go nuts and over extend. I doubt you'll do that.

Well , stop in here before you head to the store .. You'll use that anti-seize for other things such as O2 sensors when they get replace.

97-02 models only have 4 threads in the heads. I had a problem with #3 and 4 plugs loosening up on me when I used it. A Ford tech who frequents this site told me to stop using it. Since then the plugs stay tight.

The 03 to present models use anti-seize because they have about twice the threads that we do.
