i go lean ???

i go lean ???

Ok when i was riden around today... things seemed weard

When im doin 0-70 ... cant go over 70 untell i get a new driveshaft butt

not getting on the gas but just driven around normal im seeing 14.8 on the wide band...

If i go half throttle or more it just gos BAM lean like over 16-18

it just leans out... and dont seem to come back....

all fine just driveing around normal untell i get on it...
its weard...

just started doing this it seems...

any idea's ??

And befor this im used to seeing 12-13.5 when wide open not all the way LEAN...

dont wana blow another motor ya know what im saying...

What type of air filter do you have?

Changed your Oxygen sensors any?

80-90k miles on motor and injecters..

150+ on truck

it seems to do fine wide open untell 4000 rpms then bam lean 17dead or more


This is something that seem to happen overnight..

no changes to nothing just happen...

i changed my fuel filter within 20k miles and i installed new o2's within the past 30k miles/ year

I know that it is quite possible to be lean from the factory tune at higher rpms. At least what I have read here...

i have a tune...

i normaly read 12.5-13.5 wide open the whole time...


im going to data log my o2's and see if my wideband is messing up

This may be a long shot, but have you recalibrated your WB? Should be done twice a year for street driving.

past 2 days it could not have gone that bad... it seems to be better now..


but even if it was a week how can i go from 12-13 to 17+

i need a new driveshaft so i can get on it and make sure

there is alot of weard things with my truck...
wish i could buy a newer one..

i think ill put a new fuel filter in tomarrr
