engine missing

I have a 99 ford f150 with the small v-8. The engine will misfire at about 1800 RPM'S with any slight load. Any ideas?

When this happened on my '01 5.4 it was the COP on the #1 (driver side front). Moisture (especially from the radiator hose connection) gets into this location and kills the COP. It could be other COPs but on mine it happened twice to the #1 COP.

Have your OBDII scanned. Even if the CEL is not on you probably have thrown codes (AutoZone does it for $0).

What is the COP? Is that the coil pack for the spark plugs.

I went and look at the link and saw what they look like and saw the testing process. I took a look under the hood of my truck, my truck has 2 coil pack one for each bank. Do you know of any testing for this type.
