Cool

HI!... Why not just start with a 5.4 (330c.i) and work from there? Would be much cheaper and easier. You can get 350-400RWH.P in N/A trim.

if he has the boss f150, then he has the 5.4, so maybe he wants a stroker kit for that?

330 thats what i meant, just hit the wrong key, my Boss has the 5.4 in it and it is semi-built and i have every external bolt-on besides heads, but i am wanting the street-fighter stroker kit, just wondering about what the gains would be and stuff. Also it says its able to rev up to 7200 rpms, that doesnt sound to safe..what do u guys think

HI!... You still haven't told us which engine you have. Around here all the "BOSS' F-150's come standard with the 5.4L (330c.i). If you have the 5.4 you can't stroke it to 330c.i due to it's already there. Now if you have the 4.6 then don't waste your $$ on a stroker kit and just get yourself a used 5.4 and build that up instead.

HI!... Well that's why we are confused. The 5.4L modular engine is stock at 330 cubic inches. There are some stroker kits out there for the 4.6 modular engine to make it 302 cubic inches and 330 cubic inches. Since yours is already at 330 cubic inches you can't stroke it. The 5.4 has a long stroke small bore. This creates a ton of low end torque. There are stroker kits out there for the 5.4 but most require using DARTON sleeves. Plus they need to be rebuilt often due to the terrible rod ratio. If you want to make more power then spend the money and get yourself a set of FOX LAKE STAGE II heads and some custom ground cams. Just those two things were good for about 103RWH.P on my truck.

The modular engines do not stroke very much in a stock block. I dont think you could make it up to 347 with a modular motor.
You need an aftermarket block to go any significant size bigger and those cost some $$$ and I belive its mostly due to bigger bore, not stroke. Freshen/beef up your existing motor or do a lightning swap. The hp/$$$ will be much better that way.
