4.6 DOHC in a F150

I have looked with a search. I'm a mechanic and I know what is involved. It's easy to do!
I was just curious to see if anyone else has done this to their truck. I'd like to know from an actual install how the truck performed with the swap. I already figured a slight gear swap would benifit these heads plus maybe a slight torgue converter stall raise. And what fuel economy are you seeing? Ofcoure tuned with the common 24lb. injectors and matching MAF meters found with the DOHC.
.....and I'm asking about the swap on a 4.6 not a 5.4. I have a 5.4 in another truck as a SOHC with 10.5-1 comp. soon to see the road.
Please post, Inc. pic's if you can.
Thanks

you're beating a dead horse man only one guy actualy did it and he never posted how it really ran, he cought a lot of crap because he was so stuck on the fact that it was a "police interceptor" that he probably gave up posting on this site.

Kennebell did the swap but I can't find the magazine article.

you'd want to change the cams to gain some low end back and increase top end and it would probably run real good

Dohc

Yeah, I saw that guys post about the Interceptor. From working in the field"auto dismantlers" I can tell you that all the Cop and taxi motors were SOHC. and as far as the wiring harness. I was just going to reverse the coil pack polarity on the wires, and tune with a Sniper.
I'd just love to hear from someone how it turned out.

Thanks
