Cool

HI!... The factory crankshaft in your "98" F-150 is a forged steel one. Stock it's good for 900H.P at the flywheel.

Use ARP head/main studs
Use a MMR racing or COBRA oil pump
Use MAHLE/CP/JE pistons
Use EAGLE or MANLEY "H" beam rods
CLEVITE race bearings

ETC.

XE262AH is a good mid upgrade cam. The only experience I have with it though was in my '02 mustang. As crash_lucky13 stated a custom grind may be the way to go with the RPM difference on our trucks.

Ahhhhh,,,I just spent 3K on a set of heads/cams and cam gears!
And there is a set in the classifieds on here.

what kind did you get? i just spent $350 on a 5.4 motor (already torn apart with EVERYTHING) was looking at rebuilding it and getting the heads i have off of it ported and polished instead of buying say a set of patriots, but from what i've been told, in the end it's about the same cost? this sound right?

I sent my stock heads here. http://www.totalengineairflow.com/

They do very nice work and have a good turnaround time + there #s are a little better then Foxlake!
I'm getting a set of comp custom grind cams and some new gears.
All together it is real close to 3K.
