I own an 07 Supercrew with the 5.4l engine. On the way to work this morning I stopped at a red light and noticed the engine was running really rough. It was not running rough when I left my house. It almost feels like it's missing on a cylinder. I have had no other problems with the truck. I will be making an appointment to have it checked at the dealership, but it's theyre not open today. Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

 

I have a 2005 5.4 and I got a letter from Ford saying the fuel injectors may stick in the open or closed position which could cause check engine light illumination along with hard starting or rough running. Now Ford is saying this only applies to the 2005 5.4 engine but it is something you could let them know. I know of another person that got rid of his 2004 F150 for this very reason. Good luck
