most "stock" 3v 5.4L only show ~ 225RWHP, ~260RWTQ. so your rite around stock 5.4 status. (no pun/harm intended). it just sucks that these trucks have such a huge driveline loss

gears do tend to help in terms of acceleration, but they are also another reason your showing a little low on the dyno. what is the overall size of your wheel/tire combo?

29.75 in. is overall tire height, 30.06 was the stock, it feels better to hear somthing like that from built54, thanks alot... i'm still trying to figure this header thing out, long tubes from a 98'stang w/ the 2v will fit the ports and crap, and they'll clear to under the cab, BUT, i dont know if they stick out too far from the block, on the driver side of the truck, there's not much clearance between the manifold and the crossmember?? anyone know??

the hp and tq numbers from the factory are rarely correct...i saw a dyno on an 03 4.6 factory claims 230hp...i think it jingled in at just under 200... so those numbers are pretty impressive.

Once again,
Instead of adding more stuff to your truck for "power" why not fine tune or change things that could be limiting the hp what you have..

Fine tuning on dyno after a minor part change from one of my cars 10 years ago
