Squealing noise
ok i just replaced my throttle body and iac valve. There is a squealing noise coming from the exhaust or tranny. It was fine before i replaced both. It doesn't squeal when its in neutral but when in drive it squeals till about 1500 rpms then goes away. i have no idea what it is anyone know??

The first thing I think of when someone says squealing is the belts.
Give them a once over a see how they look (Shouldn't be cracked, frayed, loose, ect.).
If you discover it is the belt, I highly suggest a Goodyear Gatorback belt.

The only thing related to the trans would be the TPS sensor on the TB.
But , I never heard a trans squeal.
Pull the belt and start it while it's cold and see if it still squeals- that will tell you if it's a belt, idler, pully or power steering problem.

Ehhh... I strongly advise against dressing's personally.
I've seen them work good for the first few weeks, then basically act as a chemical attack on the belt, making the problem worse than it was in the first place.
Just another reason to spend the extra 20$'s and have a high-quality belt for many miles.

did you try it without the belt?
the noise starts as soon as you put it in gear?

So what happened when you tried it without the belt ?
ok i took it back to the shop today and the rubber piece where the intake tube it pushed in was stuck in too far and the rubber piese has like vacuum hoses hooked to it . Its the rubber piese that seperates the the intake to to the throttle body. I found out that it was pushed in too far and i pulled it out a little to unblock the hose holes and fixed the squealing noise right away. watch out when messing around wiht yuour intake tube not to push it in too far to clog the two holes.
